nspired by Pirates of the Carribbean, I would love to see aristocrat Charles and pirate captain Erik.
I think Charles is too young to be appointed the Governor of Port Royal, but maybe he could be commissioned by the Governor as a private tutor. I suppose it really doesn't matter because poor Charles is never going to make it to Port Royal. Instead, his ship gets attacked by the Dread Pirate Erik and his Brotherhood of Pirates and Scallywags. Obviously Dread Pirate Erik thinks that Aristocrat Charles is quite a prize and takes him prisoner.
I'd like to see them with their powers intact. Think about how badass it would be for a pirate to control metal. Enemy ships could easily be taken out by using his power to tear down riggings and such. He could easily control cannon fire and bring down masts. Plus, anchors! He'd be the most fearsome pirate in all the land. His crew would basically be unstoppable.
Naturally, he takes a shine to Charles and sets about wooing him. Charles is very "Ugh, pirate! Vile man, release me at once!" and very, well, aristocratic. Work in as much canon from the movie or comics as you see fit regarding Erik's past trauma and Charles' history, I just want to see pirate!Erik wooing aristocrat!Charles.
Just take the prompt and run with it. I just want to see pirate!Erik and aristocrat!Charles clashing.

Prompt: Exactly as it says. Just Charles, Erik, and the Wild, Wild West. Or alternatively, cowboys! Charles and Erik. Not like Brokeback Mountain, but more like The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Just a good, shoot-em-up style fic. Maybe Moira can be the owner of a whorehouse. Maybe Erik has a duel with Shaw at high noon. Just anything that takes place in that time and setting.
